v.3
2.5. Planets Search (Ïîèñê ïëàíåòàðíûõ âçàèìîäåéñòâèé).
To search for any planetary interactions (phenomena) select this menu item or click the button on the toolbar to open the «Planets Search» dialog window:

The field on the left (Number of planets) allows to set the number of planets to be used in the search.
If we select 2 planets, then we will actually search the aspect between these planets.

For 3 planets, we are looking for aspects configuration among 3 planets (for example Big Trigone – Mercury – Mars – Saturn).

For 4 planets we are seeking the configuration of aspects among 4 planets (for example, the Big Cross – Venus – Jupiter – Saturn – Mercury).
You should keep in mind that all the aspects are calculated based upon the first planet.

In the «Method» field we select the type of planetary interactions to search for. In the current version only one method is available: transit, Tr.
So, we are looking for interactions among transit planets. Later, other search methods are expected to be added to the program.

In the third field we select the main planet based upon which the search will be carried out.
In the fourth field (Planets position) we select the geo-, helio- coordinates of the planets or the declination position.
In the fifth field (Phenomens) we select the type of interaction. The current version of the program maintains only one such type - «In Aspect». So, we can look for planetary interactions through aspects.

In the version v.3. of MGA the following phenomena are available:

Now, let us look at the fields regarding supplementary planets (those in interaction with the base planet):
In the Aspect field we enter the angle (in degrees) between the planets to search for. It should be noted that both the left and right aspectes will be searched for (i.e. both 45 and –45 degrees).
In the «Method» field we select the type of planetary interactions to search for. In the current version only one method is available: transit, Tr.
In the third field we should select the planet whose aspect with the base planet we would like to find.
In the last field we select the orbis of the interaction (we can as well do without orbis by setting its value to 0).To search for configurations of aspects we should act in the same way.

The “Line” block allows to adjust more flexibly the display of search results on the chart.
In the dropdown menu of the first field we can use the following options:

At the bottom of the dialog box there is the list of planetary interaction to search for and several buttons.
The «Add» button adds the selected search parameters to the list of interactions.
The «Delete» button removes the selected plantary interaction line from the list.
The «Aplly» button activates the selected search parameters, and carries out the search only for those planetary interactions which are checked in the list. After the search hase been completed the dialog box is not closed.
The «Ok» button activates the selected search parameters, and carries out the search only for those planetary interactions which are checked in the list. After the search has been completed the dialog box is closed.
